A few weeks ago someone told me about The Stoned Crow, an NYU hangout in the West Village. So, when the line was spilling out the door at my favorite West Village burger joint, The Corner Bistro, I decided to give it a try. Being that it was my first time there and I was hungry, I ordered the Stoned Crow Burger (a bacon cheeseburger). The burger arrived on a paper plate with lettuce, tomato onions and pickles on the side. The presentation was exactly the same as The Corner Bistro. Sometimes a burger doesn’t have to come dressed for the prom. The taste will do all the talking. This much was true for The Stoned Crow. It was a good, solid burger. I also ordered a basket of great-tasting fries for the table. The service was fast and friendly (we had about 3 people waiting on us) and the beer was also good.
