Cooked on a griddle to perfetion, this modest burger, petite in size finds it’s home on 74th and 3rd Ave, a classic new york pub with as much flavor as the burgers it serves up. For years I frequented the Corner Bistro and swore as many others did that the Bistro was home to the best burger in New York. But I’ve found a smaller upper east contender which packs a punch that will send the Bistro Burger to the back of the line. A gem that fits perfectly inside a seedless bun with a crunchy caramilized outside and tender inside, it’s a thing of beauty. J.G Melon’s is a burger that truly says love at first bite and leaves you wishing for more at last. If you’re still hungry, buy another because it’s worth it.
Just a side note, those cottage fries are also pretty spectacular.
